＋The Ratchet Pulley Block allows for a lighter, smoother sheet (14:1 holding power) so sailors don't need to hold on as tight. This allows for longer sailing sessions, particularly if you have compromised grip strength. With a manual ON/OFF ratchet selection the Block can quickly revert to a normal pulley to provide more 'feel' in light air. Easily fitted without the need for a shackle.
With a ratchet block you don`t have full tension on the sheet rope which will make driving a bit more comfortable.
